I started practicing yoga about 20 years ago—back when I was simply curious about the physical benefits and the peace it seemed to bring. Life happened, and I stepped away from my mat for a solid decade. Then, everything changed: I lost a sibling, went through a divorce, faced career burnout, faced health issue requiring surgery with weeks of recovery and found myself navigating a swirl of grief. In the midst of all that pain and stress, I felt God calling me back to yoga. Returning to my mat was like entering a sacred space where I could process my emotions, breathe again, and let go.
Little by little, God met me right where I was, launching me into a new season of life . Now, I’m passionate about serving others who also wrestle with trauma, stress, burnout or grief. Everyone’s needs and journeys are unique—no judgment, just acceptance. I honor the many styles and spiritual disciplines of yoga, trusting that God works through them all to bring healing and wholeness.
